Teen Parent Program

The MTHS Teen Parent Program is open to incoming teen parents and prenatal students. All students will be enrolled in the MTHS academic program. The program requirements include lab experience in the Infant Care Center with the infants/toddlers and one class of either prenatal or parenting education. All current students need to provide meet the requirements and provide documentation for the Teen Parent Program.
 
Who Can Enroll?
  • Any teen who is pregnant or has a child and lives within the Salinas Union High School District.
  • A teen, 16 years and older, who is working toward a high school diploma.
 
Enrollment Process
  • Speak to home school counselor in order to complete MTHS Alternative Education Referral.
  • If current MTHS student, contact a MTHS counselor. 
 
Hours of Operation
  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:15AM - 2:16PM
